Why we're buying our building

Taos Food Co-op opened in March 2012 with a few volunteers and five bags of rice and beans. As we grew into a full grocery store, we moved into more and more of this building, and today we occupy most of it.

Buying it means the co-op can stay right here on Paseo Del Pueblo Norte, as a community-owned store for Taos, for years to come.

We are member-owned, run by a Board of Directors and staffed by volunteers. Every dollar of profit is re-invested into the co-op.

How you can help us buy our building
